Q: What makes your soap different from store-bought bars?

A: Most commercial "soaps" are actually synthetic detergents. Our soaps are made using the traditional Cold Process method, which preserves the natural glycerin—a powerful humectant that draws moisture into your skin. We swap out harsh chemicals for heritage ingredients like Peach Gum, Silk, and botanical infusions.

Q:Are your soaps truly “clean”?

A:We define clean beauty as thoughtful formulation and ingredient transparency. Our soaps are made without harsh detergents, synthetic dyes, or unnecessary additives. We focus on ingredients that serve a clear purpose in the formula.

Q: Is your soap safe for sensitive skin?

A: Absolutely. We specifically formulated our Herbarium line (like Calendula and Chamomile) for those with reactive or "angry" skin. However, we always recommend a "patch test" on your inner wrist if you are trying a new active ingredient for the first time.

Q: Are your soaps vegan?

A: Most are! Our Herbarium line and the Peach Gum and Rice soaps are 100% plant-based. The only exception is our Silk Cocoon soap, which contains natural silk proteins. We never test on animals—only on willing humans!

Q:Why do your soaps look simpler than other handmade soaps?

A:We intentionally avoid decorative additives that don’t serve the skin. Our focus is function over appearance, which results in a clean, understated look.

Q:Why is the scent lighter than commercial soaps?

A:We don’t use fragrance boosters or fixatives that overpower the senses. A lighter scent is often a sign of a gentler, cleaner formulation.

Q:Are your soaps curing properly?

A:Yes. All Sola Noor soaps are fully cured before sale to ensure hardness, longevity, and a better lather experience.

Q: What is "Peach Gum" and why is it in my soap?

A: Peach Gum is a natural resin harvested from peach trees. In traditional wellness, it’s prized as a plant-based collagen. In our soap, it helps provide a "plumping" effect and a silky, hydrated feel to the skin.

Q: Can I use these soaps on my face?

A: Yes! Our Imperial Heritage collection (Rice, Silk, Peach Gum, Black Seed) is specifically designed with facial skin in mind. They have a higher "superfat" content, meaning they cleanse without stripping your natural oils.

Q: How long does a bar of handmade soap last?

A: With proper care (keeping it dry between uses), a single bar typically lasts 4–6 weeks for daily shower use. If used only for the face, it can last much longer!

Q: Why does my soap look slightly different than the photo?

A: That is the beauty of artisanal soap! Since we use real botanicals and hand-pour in small batches, slight variations in color, shape, and "botanical topping" are normal and a sign of a truly handmade product.
